Glimpses of the Past

Be sure to join us the third Thursday of each month at 7pm, 116 Bridge St. for Glimpses of the Past, a lecture series sponsored by Ft. Union National Monument.

April's talk is April 20: “Amazing Women of the Wild West: Territorial New Mexico.” Ms. VannAnn Moore
Learn about some of the incredible women who lived and thrived during the “Wild” Territorial period of New Mexico. Ms. VannAnn Moore brings to life Dona Tules, Susan Magoffin, and Lydia Spencer Lane as examples of what it took to survive in the Wild West.

Glimpses of the Past

September 15, 2016: 7:00 pm at the Santa Fe Trail Interpretive Center Building, 116 Bridge Street, Las Vegas, NM "Glimpses of the Past" speaker series, "A Sign of Things to Come: The First Fort Union." Discover the origins behind the founding of the fort that would start it all with Ranger Greg Baker. Presented in partnership by Fort Union National Monument/Santa Fe National Historic Trail, the Las Vegas Citizen's Committee for Historic Preservation (CCHP) and the Friends of Fort Union.
