Las Vegas Annual Garden Tour

Las Vegas Annual Garden tour will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2015. This is a self-guided tour of flower, vegetable & herb Gardens from 9am - 12pm. Begin with coffee & donuts at 8:30am at 116 Bridge Street. Then join us for luncheon at the historic Masonic Lodge, 514 Douglas Avenue from 12:15pm to 2pm. Jude Romero will share his expertise on planting and growing numerous varieties of chilies and ways to preserve them.

2015 "Places With a Past" Tour

Sunday, August 2- " Places With A Past" Historic Homes and Buildings Tour is a one-day, self-guided tour of lovingly restored Victorian and historic Adobe homes. The Las Vegas Harvey Girls will be your docents at the Castaneda Hotel, a Fred Harvey Hotel. Also included on the tour is the newly renovated Historic Serf Theater, with its beautiful mural. Background history and the unique features of each place will be provided by docents/guides. The tour runs from 9am to 5 pm. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at our office, 116 Bridge St. Credit cards are accepted.

LVCCHP "Garden Tour

Take a tour of gardens in Las Vegas. The emphasis will be on how to have a beautiful space with little or not water.

Glimpses of the Past


We have a great upcoming program on March 20, 2014 @ 7pm in Las Vegas. Fort Union was involved in conflicts throughout the Southwest. The Red River War of 1874 was a major campaign led from Fort Union into the heart of "Indian Country". Come and learn about this campaign and its major effect on American Indians.
